Want to know more about stealth vaping?
Stealth vaping is the act of vaping a discreet quantity of vapour so you don’t get noticed by those around you. Stealth vaping is not invisible, it produces a small amount of vapour.
Although stealth vaping can be handy, we recommend that you don't vape in any of the following locations for your safety and the security of others:
- All forms of public transport
- Emergency service buildings, i.e. hospitals
- Uni campuses and schools
- Movie theatres or concert halls
- Aeroplanes
- Bars and restaurants without permission from the staff
- UK government grounds, i.e., courts, city halls, embassies
If you find that you can’t stealth vape, you shouldn't try it. Doing so may put your health at serious risk.
How do you stealth vape?
- Use a starter vape kit or one that’s classified as a beginner vape kit – this could be a pen-style vape kit, a pod kit or a disposable vape device. The kit should guarantee a MTL inhale (which is a shorthand term for mouth-to-lung vaping). These sorts of disposable bars and pod vape devices are very small and won’t take up too much room in your pocket.
- All you need to do is take very short puffs in quick succession. This should take no more than a few seconds. The longer time you spend puffing on a device, the larger the plumes of vapour you’ll get. Small devices usually can’t produce a lot of vapour, but it all depends on the vape hardware you have. After a few beats, and you want to start exhaling the vapour you’ve held, tighten your lips or exhale through your nose in a downward fashion that’s not in the direction of any observers.
