Beginner Vape Tricks

Vaping isn’t just a useful tool to help people stop smoking. Over the years, vaping has become a hobby for some people. Vape tricks especially have risen in popularity, especially on social media. In fact, there are even annual vape trick events in which vapers from across the world compete for the title.

We have gathered a list of beginner-friendly vape tricks that you can learn so you can impress your friends. Once you’ve mastered these tricks, you might even find yourself at the vaping worlds next cloud chasing event!

In this guide, we’ll start with some popular yet simple vape tricks to help get you started.

All you'll need is your e-cigarette kit and your favourite e-liquid flavour!

The Waterfall Trick

The Waterfall is one of the easiest and first tricks most vapers learn. The idea is to make your vapour look and act like a waterfall.

To create the waterfall, take in a mouthful of vapour, without inhaling. Let out the vapour slowly onto a flat surface. This will leave a thick mist on the surface, by letting out the vapour a few centimetres from the surface, you will create a waterfall effect.

It is easier to do this trick with a high VG e-liquid or a powerful device. The thicker you can make your cloud, the more effective the trick will be. For maximum effect, do not exhale the vapour just let it flow out of your mouth onto the surface.

The Tornado

The Tornado looks and sounds complicated, but it only requires one extra step after completing The Waterfall. Once you have released your vapour onto the flat surface, use your hand to whisk the vapour into the air. This will create a funnel-like shape with the vapour and a tornado will form.

Ghost Inhale

The Ghost Inhale takes a bit of practice but stick with it! You might have seen this one quite a lot on social media. This is an impressive trick that looks quite complex but is sure to impress your mates.

Take in a lot of vapour into your mouth, but keep it there, don’t inhale! Let the vapour rest in your mouth for a few moments. Use your tongue to push out the vapour without exhaling. As soon as the vapour leaves your mouth, pull it back in quickly.

You will need the Ghost Inhale in a lot of advanced tricks, so mastering it early is helpful.

Blow O’s

Blowing O’s is one of the most popular tricks and is one that most people are impressed by. It takes a while to get the hang of it but once you do it will look pretty cool. Once you’ve mastered this trick, it will happen naturally.

Take the vapour into your mouth but don’t inhale. Then make an ‘O’ shape with your mouth. It’s hard to explain but you have to force the air out of your mouth using the back of your throat. It helps if you build up a bit of pressure before each release.

Once you have the hang of this trick, you will be able to change the speed, distance and even combine it with other tricks.

The Dragon

To master The Dragon, you need to exhale the vapour out of your nose and the corners of your mouth at the same time. This creates a cool looking effect that sort of looks like an angry dragon.

When you have a mouth full of vapour, exhale through your nose and mouth at the same time. This step in itself is quite tricky to get the hang of because it is so unnatural.

Make sure you keep the centre of your mouth shut so that the vapour can only escape out of the corners of your mouth.

French Inhale

The French Inhale is one of the simplest tricks to master. Take the vapour into your mouth, push your bottom lip out slightly and slowly breathe it out. Once the vapour has left your mouth, inhale through your nose. The remaining vapour should follow naturally if you have done it correctly.

This is very similar to the Ghost Inhale except you have to use your nose to inhale rather than your mouth. It’s a good idea to get the hang of the Ghost Inhale before you try the French Inhale.

Bane

Once you have conquered the French Inhale, the Bane will be easy. The tip to this trick is to make the vapour in your mouth as dense as possible so it might be a good idea to master that first.

Similar to the French Inhale, take in a mouthful of vapour and stick out your bottom lip slightly so that the vapour will flow naturally up towards your nose. In the exact same way as the French Inhale, push the vapour up towards your nose except put your teeth in the way of the vapour so that it can only come through the gaps. This will give you the Bane mask effect.
